![]() ![]() I have attached some images to try to show what is happening plus the file I was trying to open. What is weird is that if I create a file within calc with the same special characters it will only render correctly using "Unicode". ![]() Teh character set simply called "Unicode" changes it all to what looks like Chinese. In fact none of the Unicodes are working for it. When trying to open this in calc I found that it was failing to render correctly when opening with UTF8. This exports CSV files with some of our product data in and sometimes it will contain foreign characters from other European languages i.e. We create some CSV files using a 'tool' made for us in excel. This has generally worked fine except for one specific occurrence. It was recommended that I use Unicode UTF8 as my character set when opening CSV files with foreign characters. I actually posted a few weeks ago regarding handling special characters with calc. ![]()
